Preparing for First Light 2025

As the season turns colder and the air begins to hold that familiar sacred stillness, we begin our annual preparations for First Light, a celebration that has become one of our most meaningful traditions.

This year marks our third year attending First Light with Aromatose, a journey that began in 2022 with a few handmade products and a vision rooted in ancestral practice, sustainability, and intention. What started as a small table of candles and botanical goods has grown into a full creative offering that reflects not just our craft, but our purpose.

Each year, we approach this event as more than a market. It is a gathering, a time to connect with community, to share stories, and to stand among other makers who carry their heritage and passion in their hands. Every product we bring to First Light is hand poured, infused, and created with care, carrying a bit of the land and the lessons we have learned along the way.

Our proceeds from First Light are always reinvested directly back into the company to help fund our summer season at the Midland Farmers Market. This allows us to continue offering the best in local, organic, and natural products, while also supporting other producers, growers, and artisans who share our values of sustainability and authenticity.

Each candle, balm, and botanical creation represents more than just a product. It is a reflection of community, resilience, and renewal. We are grateful for every person who visits our booth, shares a story, or brings a piece of Aromatose into their home.
